Optional Afternoon Enrichment Programs - (12:30pm-3:15pm, Monday-Thursday)
Each week is optional, families may register for all four weeks or 1-3 specific weeks
These one-week-long, skills-based Enrichment Programs are available only in the afternoons. Afternoon Enrichment Programs focus on building skills in athletics, art, STEAM, music, and drama. Each Afternoon Enrichment Program is optional and separate from the Academic Morning Program. Students do not need to participate in both but are encouraged to!
Art: Students will explore expression and their creativity through visual arts. Create unique artwork while learning visual and mixed media arts skills. Summer enrichment classes will culminate in a final presentation for family and friends live-streamed on Google Meets!
Music/Drama: Students will immerse themselves in the world of music and theater with their peers and Eton teachers. This program will explore various musical genres, instruments, a brief history of music, and theater styles while helping students to strengthen their musical skills and talents.
Athletics: Students will learn about physical fitness and stay active this summer while participating in socially distanced athletics and sports with friends. These enrichment sessions will focus on students’ strengths, various sports skills, and help students to apply them independently.
Essentials of Learning through STEAM: Students will become scientists and apply their Essentials of Learning skills through safe hands-on experiments and STEAM activities. Learn to transfer skills, solve problems, and test hypotheses this week. Students will also make a Rube Goldberg machine, practice coding, and learn about their strengths in the world of technology, science, art, and math!
